The complex consists of temporary & permanent exhibits, auditorium, library, cafeteria, media center, OAT. The complex has been perceived as a journey from the past to the present, which would time travel, the visitor by virtue of interconnected built forms and piazzas. The topography of the 30 acre site is divided into three parts - high ground, ravine and the hillock. The ravine acts a natural depression and hence has been converted into a lake. The main museum complex has been located on the hillock, which accentuates its visibility and gives it a monumental grandeur. |
